Summer Camp Program

Rotary clubs worldwide organize summer camps and warmly invite you to participate during your school holidays. These camps provide young individuals with a unique opportunity to gain insight into another culture and foster friendships among youth from various countries. Typically, each camp allows only two participants per country, ensuring a diverse group of attendees and offering you the chance to form lasting connections with peers from around the globe. The primary language of communication at these camps is usually English.

Each camp has specific age requirements to ensure participants can enjoy engaging activities alongside peers. The organizers also establish the camp’s theme or motto, as well as any prerequisites or equipment needed. This thoughtful planning ensures that participants are well-prepared and can fully immerse themselves in the experience while enjoying a theme tailored to their interests.

The camps cover a wide range of themes, including music, culture, trekking, canoeing, archery, cycling, sailing, camel riding, nature exploration, architecture, and collaborative activities, among others.

Keep in mind that participation operates on a first-come, first-served basis. To increase your chances, it is advisable to submit a preliminary application and finalize your decision once the ideal camp becomes available.

It is important to note that you do not need to be a part of Rotary to participate in exchanges or camps.

Your completed form will be forwarded to a nearby Rotary club, which may contact you and provide the link to the official application. If you prefer a specific club, please mention it in the comments section.

Please note that any specific requirements, such as cycling, running, or trekking distances, must be met. If you are unsure whether you can meet these requirements, carefully consider whether the camp is the right choice for you.

• Psychological Test Fee: IDR 500,000 (payable after submitting this registration form).
• Administration Fee: IDR 2,000,000 (payable only upon acceptance to the camp).

What Does It Cost?

The costs for attending a camp include the following:

• Camp Fees: The prices for the camp itself range from USD 0 to 2,000, depending on the camp's content and sponsorships. The specific camp invitation will always indicate the exact cost.
• Other Camp fees: Plane tickets, Visa fees, pocket money, and insurance.

Important: Do not book flights until you have been accepted, confirmed, and contacted by the camp organizer.
